Jesse, I haven't had a chance to read the full interview yet -- what don't you buy?
He's not a guy who can be summed up in a sentence or two. I first heard of him through an interview reprinted in the old Utne Reader, maybe 10 years ago. I went out and bought several of his books, read parts of some of them. You should pick one up. I don't know what you might agree or disagree with, but he'd give you a lot to think about and talk about.
Pat, I"m assuming you're thinking the Chabon didn't belong in the nominations to begin with?
